Lots of watering: Water on average 3 to 4 times each week. Keep the soil moist.

Moderate watering: Water on average 2 times each week. Keep the soil moist.

Parts Used: The fresh leaves are used.

 

Uses: The leaves are used to add flavouring and colour to food. They are used in delicacies like Nasi Lemak and Pandan Cakes. You can make Pandan Tea as well. Check our recipes page to check out how to make Pandan Tea!

The plant is very aromatic and has a flavour that is hard to describe. Some have even called it the "Vanilla of Asia".

The leaves can be stored in the fridge for about 2 to 3 weeks. Harvest the leaves from the lowest part first and work your way up.
