PRUNING

1. Prune the plants in the beginning of its growing season. For herbs
with flowers or blooms, prune them only after they bloom.
2. Using a pair of pruning shears, remove dead leaves branches.
3. Pinch dead or dried flowers.
4. Using a pair of pruning shears, cut longest branches of the plant back to about a third of their length.
5. Remove leggy stems. This will help the plant grow in a more even
pattern. Use a pair of pruning shears to cut the leggy stems back to one
third of their length.
6. Selectively remove 10-20% of the plant’s foliage at a time. Do not
over prune the plant.
